WBDC: STEMpreneur Insights

  • IIT McCormick Tribune Campus Center 3201 S State St Chicago, IL, 60616 United States (map)

Join the Women’s Business Development Center and the Enterprising Women Foundation for a panel discussion with accomplished women entrepreneurs in STEM-related fields discussing the benefits, challenges and strategies for establishing and growing successful businesses in science, technology and engineering as well as contracting opportunities and hurdles in the private and public sectors.

Also invited to the tea are girls excelling in STEM subjects from local organizations and schools, including Girls4Science, Girls in the Game, Perspectives High School of Technology, and the Young Women’s Leadership Charter School. A number of these girls will be recognized at the tea and it is our hope that each will be inspired and motivated by the dynamic women on the panel and attendees to become the next generation of women leaders in STEM.
